One or more NSF-funded postdoc positions are available in the Hoogstraten lab at Michigan

State to study the biophysics of RNA recognition and tertiary interface formation. Depending on interest, projects will involve some combination of: 

• Biochemical and biochemical analyses of RNA structure-dynamics-function relationships;
• NMR spectroscopy, specifically spin relaxation and CEST analyses of functional minor conformations (“invisible states”); and 
• Advanced molecular computation techniques, in collaboration with the group of Michael Feig.
