RNA Collaborative Seminar Series

Information and Upcoming Seminars

The RNA Collaborative is a grassroots effort led by a number of RNA research centers worldwide to provide an on-line seminar series during and beyond the institutional shut-down caused by COVID-19. The goal of the program is to promote and disseminate emerging RNA research and to establish and strengthen connections within the international RNA scientific community. Scientists are welcome to present all RNA-related research spanning from foundational discoveries to potential therapeutic applications. Host centers can choose to present one hour-long seminar, two 30-minute seminars, four poster sessions with introductory lightning talks, or a combination of talks and poster sessions.

Seminars are held virtually every other Wednesday, at either 9:00 am ET (2:00 pm GMT) or 4:00 pm ET (9:00 pm GMT) depending on the host institution and are recorded and made freely available for viewing on the RNA Collaborative YouTube Channel. Seminars are open for viewing by all interested researchers, but prior registration is required to access the streaming content.

Current RNA Collaborative participating centers include: MD Anderson Center for RNA Interference and Non-Coding RNAs; Harvard Medical School Initiative for RNA Medicine; NCI RNA Biology Initiative; RiboClub Sherbrooke; The RNA Institute, University At Albany; UMass Medical School, RNA Therapeutics Institute; University of Michigan Center for RNA Biomedicine; University of Rochester Center for RNA Biology; Yale Center for RNA Science and MedicineEuropean Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL), Shanghai RNA Club, The Bay Area RNA Club (BARC), UCSC Center for Molecular Biology of RNA, and NUS-CSI Singapore RNA Biology CenterPenn RNA Group, University of PennsylvaniaHelmholtz Institute for RNA-based Infection Research, Cambridge RNA ClubGroupe de Recherche RNA Alberta RNA Research and Training Institute (ARRTI)Institute of Molecular Biology (IMB)

We invite institutions with RNA research programs to join the RNA Collaborative and present within this exciting on-line seminar series.  All below are free and open to the public.  For more information on having your center join the RNA Collaborative, please contact Martina Jerant at [email protected].
