Postdoctoral Associate Position in RNA Biology and Gene Expression2025 January 28th, The Kiledjian laboratory at Rutgers University in New Jersey is seeking a postdoctoral associate to study the regulation of RNA turnover in the control of gene expression. Projects focus on 1) the role of mRNA decapping proteins in human neurogenesis and neurodevelopmental disorders and 2) the role of RNA modifications including RNA glycosylation (glycoRNA) to taget RNA to extracellular vesicles (exosomes) for cellular communication as well as noncanonical metabolite caps in modulate mRNA expression. Please refer to the Kiledjian Lab web page for more information on areas of research interest and publications. We are seeking highly motivated candidates with a Ph.D. in the life sciences with good communications skills and a publication track record in peer reviewed journals. Preference will be given to applicants with research experience in the areas of post-transcriptional gene regulation, RNA metabolism and computational biology. Interested individuals should email Mike Kiledjian at ([email protected]) and include a cover letter describing interests and past accomplishments and a current curriculum vitae. Campus Information: The Kiledjian lab is part of a larger collaborative RNA community at Rutgers. We are dedicated to career development for postdoctoral associates for their long-term goals. The lab is located on the Piscataway campus within one hour of New York and Philadelphia as well as the Jersey shore or the Pennsylvania mountains. We are an equal opportunity employer. |
