Postdoctoral candidate to apply for a Marie Skłodowska-Curie EU Fellowship at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

The research group “Human Host defense RNases” lead by Dr. Ester Boix at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, is looking for a postdoctoral candidate to apply for a MSCA- EU Postdoctoral Fellowship for 2 years to work on “Extracellular RNases and non-coding RNA in Infection”.

The group is working on the structural determinants of host RNases for novel anti-infective therapies. The project includes the following methodological approaches: analysis of specific cleavage of non-coding RNAs in infection models, identification of signaling RNAs and structural analysis of protein-nucleic acid complexes. The lab is located at the UAB Campus, at 10 min walk to ALBA synchrotron.

Candidates should have a PhD in Biochemistry or a related field and experience in any of the following areas: Structural Biology, Molecular Biology and/or Cell Biology.
